WHAT WE DID
Diversified and internationalized mentorship program.
We collaborate with volunteer students from universities around the world to provide academic tutoring, life guidance, and career planning for sponsored students. These mentors not only help students improve their academic performance but also provide essential support and guidance for their personal growth.
Organize community service
To broaden children's horizons, we will organize summer camps and study tours in Guangxi or other cities in China for sponsored children during the summer vacation. Through visits to university campuses, museums, science centers, and more, children can experience a broader world firsthand, inspiring their interest in learning and ambition.
Professional campus mental health support
Due to poverty in some households, children have to enter the labor market early to supplement family income, which undoubtedly sacrifices their opportunities for further education. Over time, this widens the urban-rural education gap, making it even more challenging to break the vicious cycle of intergenerational poverty in rural areas.

what we do
Sponsoring tuition and living expenses
We provide tuition assistance for outstanding students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds among left-behind children, ensuring they can successfully complete their studies. Additionally, we offer living allowances to alleviate their concerns about daily expenses.
In remote areas of China, children lack personal time after school. They miss out on exploring their interests and valuable study time.
These children are burdened with heavy household chores and farm work.
They work hard, care for their families, and complete their homework under dim lighting.
However, their childhood is stifled by the heavy burdens of life, leaving them struggling to breathe.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we dedicated to addressing the educational challenges faced by left-behind children in China over the long term, HeartCurrent deeply understands the crucial role that support from all sectors of society plays in improving their educational situation.
Therefore, we have decided to gather caring resources from around the world to collectively help children access more learning time, resources, and opportunities.
We believe that education can help children change their lives.

Left-behind children,
especially those in remote areas, face numerous obstacles and challenges in education.
01
Lack of Necessary Family Care and Support
Due to their parents working away from home for long periods, these children often lack necessary family care and support.
02
Relatively Scarce Educational Resources
In these remote areas, educational resources are relatively scarce, the teaching staff is inadequate, and it is difficult to ensure teaching quality. This further exacerbates the academic difficulties faced by left-behind children.
03
Financial Pressure
The financial pressure. In some families, due to poverty, children have to enter the labor market early to help with household expenses, which undoubtedly sacrifices their opportunities for further education. Over time, this widens the urban-rural education gap, making it even more difficult to break the vicious cycle of intergenerational poverty in rural areas.
Every child should have equal opportunities to enjoy a happy childhood.
They should have time to play, to learn, to explore the world,
rather than shouldering adult responsibilities and obligations too early.
We hope, through the efforts and capabilities of HeartCurrent, to improve the education and living conditions of children in remote areas as much as possible.
Our goal is to ensure that
every kid can truly live like a kid.
